I'm getting a repeatable crash when setting up a workspace. I've attached a video, and here is the log:

  • Brian W. Davidson changed the title to Crash when setting up a workspace

One thing I discovered: If i close all the sections of the info pane (I had a few open) except for commentaries it doesn't crash at that last step.

  • 2 weeks later...

From crash log you provided, this seems to happen when drawing the info pane icon for one of the tools.

Unfortunately, I can't tell which tool.

Since this isn't crashing for me, can you help me narrow it down to a specific tool with the following steps?

  1. Reopen the sections of the info pane until one causes a crash, and note the culprit.
  2. Go into the info pane display options and turn off "Show book covers"
  3. Open the section the that previously caused the crash again.
  4. If it still crashes, I'm wrong about it being related to the icon.
  5. If it doesn't, take a screenshot of the section that caused the crash and post it here.  One of those tools may have a bad icon file, at least on your machine.  I'm not sure how that would happen, but it's my best guess.

The video doesn't help me tell which tool in the info pane caused the crash, since the crash will have occured before the tool's cover was shown on the screen.
