Adding user notes to tools

When adding user notes to tools, something odd happens that is difficult to explain, but is definitely not right. If I add a note to a paragraph, Accordance shows the note icon in the right margin in alignment with the subsequent paragraph instead of the one I opened a user note for. Then, when I want to add a user note to the first paragraph, it shows that I have a user note there, even though the icon displays in the next paragraph. When I open the user note from the next paragraph (which was the wrong location in the first place), it indicates that its location is in that paragraph. It's as if the note occurs twice, but it doesn't.

If you have a selection when you click the button, it adds the note for the specific characters selected.  Could that be what you're experiencing?

I don't think I had a selection, when I experienced this. However, I cannot reproduce what I remember occurring and I don't remember what module it was in, so that's it for now, I guess.
