miketisdell
When I do a research search (verses) for "John 6:44," I get the expected results. Similarly, if I do a research search for "John 6:65," I get the expect results. But if I do a research search for "John 6:44 <OR> John 6:65," I only get a few results. It appears that it may be treating my <OR> as an <AND>.
Silas Marrs
I'm not sure why that doesn't work, but couldn't you just search for "John 6:44, 6:65"?
OSchrock
I just came to the forums because I'm having the same issue when searching for Key Numbers in Research. I searched for [KEY H2617] with results from 9 different Bible Texts. Then I searched for [KEY H2617a] with results from 6 Bible texts (some overlap, one (NASB) not in the first search results). Then I combined the search and got results from only 5 Bible Texts when I expected a combined 10 Bible Texts. JonathanHuber
Silas, I already tried the string you suggested but the same problem still occurs. Try searching for each passage individually, then search for the combination. It doesn't find all the hits. The issue doesn't appear to be the formatting of the OR search.
