User Bible Importing in Different Language

Hello.

I have an English Bible I'm trying to convert and import into Accordance. I did a test run with Gen 1, and when I import it into Accordance, it uses the Greek equivalent for the English letters, not the English letters. (Also, the line breaking appears to be off.)

Any suggestions for fixing this behavior?

I've uploaded both the .txt file and the Accordance Bible file.

Thanks,

Colin

I have also Greek characters. Even if I change the encoding from utf-8 to Mac OS Roman. And line break "Legacy mac".

Very strange: I put one line in the Research form the txt.file.

You can see the search text is all in English, but the output is in Greek letters.

Now I have copy the content to a new file in BBEdit and import it again this now works.

To Accordance: It seems the other one has some hidden code which says it is in Greek.

To ct253: It seems you have to learn Greek better :D

To ct253: For english use Mac OS Roman encoding and the (CR) line break. And at the end of the texts NO empty line.

Here the txt from a NEW file.

I remember I had this situation too in an earlier User Bible.

By the way for beginning on a new line you can use also
.

The line break is then to turn on and off with

So the paragraph and the line break are then separate. The line breaks are then also nearer. Just in case you want that. If so then to save the file as follow is helpful. So you can see the
better.
