naive search question

I want to run a research search to find all articles in Tools which mention both 'Exodus' and all Akhenaten (under all the variant spellings) - I tried this which doesn't work

 

exodus <AND> (Akhenaten <OR> Amenhotep <OR> Echnaton <OR> <OR>Akhenaton <OR> Ikhnaton)

Do I just have to do this as separate searches

 

I know this must sound daft but it would save me a lot of time if I could do this as one 'research' search

I would try changing the <OR>s to commas and do the query as : exodus <AND> (name1, name2, ...)

And i think you can use a * instead of where you have it with an "e" or "o" to catch different easy variants such as Akhenat*n.
