David Foster Posted April 15, 2020 Posted April 15, 2020 I just heard yesterday, during one of the webinars, that in version 13.05 you can use 'command R' to bring up a new research tab (they said it was the default shortcut set in preferences). However, when I did it, it brings up the set range box. Thanks kindly!
Solly Posted April 15, 2020 Posted April 15, 2020 The presenter does not use 'command R' for setting the range box, so he used the the Preferences—> Keyboard shortcuts to remove 'command R' from 'Define Range' (under Search Menu section) and then assign it to 'New Research Tab' (under File Menu section). —Solly 1
Mark Allison Posted April 15, 2020 Posted April 15, 2020 You're correct that Command-R is currently the shortcut for setting a range. However, you can change Command-R to open a Research Tab instead by: 1) select "New Research Tab" in the Keyboard Shortcut preferences, 2) click "Modify Shortcut" 3) Enter the desired shortcut 4) Click "OK" 2
