Dr. Michael Brown

Greetings Accordance family,

 

I have been watching Dr. Michael Brown now for about two years. He has written many books on subjects most churches avoid- the LGBTQ, Calvanisim, Jewish objections to Jesus, Holiness & sin, pentacostalism. This guy is well rounded in the different topics we deal with as Christians. He has a daily talk show and preaches around the world. 

 

Now I know this does not qualify him as a good orator or teacher of scripture. All I am saying is check him out and see if we can start to bring some of his books into accordance. My suggestion would be to start on his book / commantary of "Jeremiah and Ezekiel". This is one volume, and wow, very thorough.

 

He also is Jewish and has an amazing ministry and endless teachings and debates on YouTube with Rabbi's showing Jesus as Messiah. He has a three volume series of book called Answering "Jewish Objections to Jesus". It would be absolutely amazing to get this into "accordance"as well.

 

Please consider his work for accordance.

Shoot! I shouldn't have said that he deals with "topics most churches avoid" And then I listed some. Not too smart Marco.

 

Well, the bible deals with these tough topics as well, maybe we should too. I mean, if we are going to be relevant to what we are dealing with in the church and culture today.

 

I don't know why I always get my self in trouble like this?

 

Dr. Michael Brown is considered by some to be the worlds foremost Messianic Jewish Apologist and his writings on the subject are truly thorough an exhaustive. Please consider these two works.

This is actually a 5-volume series.  +1 for having this (and his other works; he is a genuine scholar) in Accordance

His video at this link says he wrote the Jeremiah part but his name is not on the volume 7?

No, "Answering Jewish Objections to Jesus" is not in Accordance--not yet, anyway.

 

"+1" is a way of saying here in the forum, "I'm in agreement with the request being made" (i.e. "I also want such and such in Accordance").
