Andrew Perriman
I have Accordance 8.0.5 on OSX 10.5.5. When I open Accordance, type in a search word and press enter, the program immediately closes. No error message or anything. If I first perform some other action, such as select 'search for verses' and then select 'search for words', the program functions normally. Helen Brown
This could be a corrupt Startup session. Try resaving the session in Preferences: General.
Andrew Perriman
Thanks. It seems to happen only when Default Search Window is selected.

Andrew Perriman
Try resetting the Preferences: Search window. Not quite sure what you mean by that. I changed the search for option to verses, restarted, then back again to words, but the problem persists. Can session data be deleted directly? Helen Brown
Ah the blessings of screensharing! I just looked at Andrew's Mac in the Netherlands and quickly identified the unusual condition that led to his crash: Chapter field set in the Search window preferences. So now we have another bug to fix before we can release 8.1.
