Difficulty Highlighting in iOS

Highlighting texts is much more difficult now on my iPad Pro and my iPhone 8. I can't tell if it's due to the latest Accordance update, but the "active highlighting" isn't working all that well. Anyone else having this issue?

I have the same difficulty. It's fixed by quitting the app (swiping up on the multitasker) and relaunching. But that's only temporary as, after a while, the problem returns. iPad Pro and iPhone XS here.
