pbgroover
I recently purchased Grudem's Systematic Theology in Accordance and am disappointed that all the helpful figures throughout are low resolution, so the text is blurry and the background whites patchy and blocky (See below). Please can these be corrected and uploaded at a better/higher resolution? They should at least be as clear as in the book, they look terrible as they are. Mark Allison
We'll look into it. These were the images provided by the publisher, but perhaps we can do our own scans.
pbgroover
Thanks Mark, appreciate your looking into it and hope they can be improved on. It's shocking that this is what the publisher provided, especially since they must have the original hi-res images for printing.
Alistair
They look like they were scanned from a print copy, over compressed JPEG. Shocking indeed. It stands in sharp contrast to the excellent work Oak Tree has done with the text.
Graham Buck
They look like they were scanned from a print copy, over compressed JPEG. Shocking indeed. It stands in sharp contrast to the excellent work Oak Tree has done with the text. Considering the age of this module, the e-text we received was produced in 2008, from a text that was published in 1994, my guess is that it is both. And, speaking as a one intimately involved with this kind of development process, you would be surprised at the amount of time I spend rescanning/recreating images for our modules. Even from texts printed not that long ago…
