Thx D I came to say exactly this. Tov’s parallel Is wonderful. Muraoka’s grammar and lexicon are a Hellenist’s dream. Thx D The third resource is a must for LXX studies- It shows every possible translation value for a Hebrew word into Greek and where they all occur and frequency. The lexicon merely supplies glosses while not giving full info. It seems that Accordance could enhance the analytics available based on the CATSS db and make some of this doable - Concordance support for example, and summary table of translations, though I am not sure this info is crisp in the db. I haven't been able to see an example page of the Two Way Index but from what I can glean it's a rather different work from Tov's. Thx D Another good one to have is the Hatch and Redpath concordance. it is dated but does a great job showing translation values. NicholasMajors Posted February 12, 2019 Share Posted February 12, 2019 I would like to suggest that the Codex Add-on include the Old Testament sections of the various manuscripts. Right now it only covers the NT portion which does little to no good for an OT examination of these. When I am researching, I usually go for any resource Brill has done as it is typically the standard in the field with whatever topical Encyclopedia, lexicon, or Dictionary it may be. Also their series of supplements etc are great. Just a really difficult publisher to work with and their print pricing structure is through the roof due to the specialized nature of what I like and read. Blessing and a curse really. The raw data is there, but it's true it's not morph tagged and that might help some displays, but even something with raw forms could be coded without additional tagging. This is a problem for all publishers (RIP ZLib), but is especially deadly for small specialist publishers like Peeters. This would be perfect for Accordance and would give Peeters a "market share" they certainly wouldn't have in keeping to a print version alone.
