Thiessenstuart
Lately, if I have Accordance open, it will all of the sudden pop in front of windows I have open. I haven’t clicked on it or anything. That does get annoying from time to time, especially when it is in the same desktop as other research data. Do I have a setting wrong or something that causes it to do that? Thanks, Stuart
Silas Marrs
Stuart, This shouldn't be happening, and I'll see if I can reproduce it so I can fix it. A few questions: What operating system version is this happening on? Does it happen for all other apps, or only certain ones? Does it pop to the front if it was minimized, or only when it is just behind the other programs?
Thiessenstuart
This is on MacOS X 10.13.6. This only happens for Accordance when it is a window that is opened as one of several application windows on that desktop (I do have multiple monitors … it happens on any monitor it is on though). It doesn’t happen when it is minimized. Only when it is an open window on the desktop. I haven’t paid attention to when it is the window in focus. I just notice it when it is not the window in focus. It will become the window in focus. I hope that helps? Edited August 28, 2018 by Thiessenstuart
Silas Marrs
Thank you, it does help. I guess I will try updating to 10.13.6 and see if I can reproduce it there.
Thiessenstuart
I wondered if there was any update?
Silas Marrs
Unfortunately, I was never able to reproduce this. Have you updated to Accordance 12.2.9?
Thiessenstuart
Yes. I’m using 12.2.9 and it still happens. I even upgrated to Mojave and it still happens.
Fabian
I have a similar bug since Accordance 12, with Accordance 10 and 11 it worded fine. I've reported it here https://www.accordancebible.com/forums/topic/20199-conflict-with-itranslate/?hl=itranslate. The bug still persist. Since the bug is not solved, I use Mate Translate now. Silas Marrs
Stuart, I'm still not able to reproduce this. I'm wondering if some third party software might not be creating a conflict? Can you post a list of other running programs (or post a screenshot of your "Force Quit" window) so I can potentially narrow down culprits?
