Show study notes contributors instead of editors on Study Bibles

I notice on at least Study Bible notes (I've only looked at the NIV SB and ESV SB) that it shows the editors in the text title instead of the actual study note contributors (see 1st set of images). It would be nice to always show who actually authored the material instead of the editors. That way, when I'm reading material I have a sense of who actually wrote it.

Also the references and bibliography information does the same. When copying something as a bibliography from these Study Bibles, it only lists the editors, not the study note contributors. (see 2nd set of images)

It looks like at least the New Bible Commentary does both of these things: it shows the content contributor in the title and will list BOTH the commentary author and the editors in the reference.

Maybe there are other resources where it is not consistent and if so, it would be nice to better show and reference who did most of the work on the material being read.

I would guess that sourcing by the editors is a “safe” choice because in some study Bibles, there can even be articles written by other individuals in the midst of study notes.
