Diatheke76
Cool! I want to sign up but the link takes me to an “about:blank” page. Maybe something wasn’t linked right. Thanks!
R. Mansfield
That’s odd. When I click on the link in the message above, I get the following page (see attached):

ukfraser
I’m hoping we won’t get too many warning points if we mention something that catches our eye and want to share it on this forum!!!!!! ;o)

Daniel Francis
Might be best to say NL had a really great deal on EBC. As long as we don’t openly share a special code openly I can’t imagine it’s a bad thing as it may well encourage more to subscribe. -dan Edited March 29, 2018 by Daniel Francis

Michael Hunt
While I am already subscribed to the newsletter I have been having issues recently with links posted here on the forums that direct an about:blank page. R. Mansfield
I’m hoping we won’t get too many warning points if we mention something that catches our eye and want to share it on this forum!!!!!! I wouldn’t worry too much. We’re just trying to give extra incentive for folks to look at our newsletters and increase the number of subscribers to our newsletters. You can always feel free to share your copy with a friend or colleague, too. Here’s a little inside baseball (or better, “marketing-ball”) that you may or may not already know. On average, fewer than half of the recipients of any company’s email newsletter actually (any company, not just us) take the time to view an emailed newsletter. We don’t know if you, Fraser, view or email or just delete it, but the service we use does tell us a percentage of views. From what I understand, our number of views is above average (because we have exceptional users!), but we could always work to improve that number. Personally, I’ll be satisfied if 120% of our recipients open the email. My high school math teacher would say that percentage makes no sense, but maybe a person is looking at the newsletter multiple times! :-) And then as far as the number of newsletter subscribers go, I’ll sleep well at night when we reach into the billions of subscriptions! ;-) x 2 Lately I’ve even been having issues with links posted on Twitter. Links from us or links posted in general?
ukfraser
I tend to look at the forum and special offers each morning over coffee (from the recliner)! They are both virtually permanently open tabs on my iPad. I do scroll through the email as you ‘hide’ useful stuff at the bottom, frequently videos or other gems, but tend to skip the main offers as I like the current specials listing and tend not to concentrate on them as I’ve usually already seen them due to the time zone, but did notice the athanasius offer which I think was Email only. The forum is probably the best one I subscribe to due to all the members. Edited March 30, 2018 by ukfraser
Λύχνις Δαν
I'm probably one of the 50+ % who barely read it. Just skim it. But I just went back to see if I had seen one recently and was reminded of the 20% coupon. Ooops ! Haven't thought about what to do there. Should read these more carefully. Though I note the coupon says 20% off any one item while the fine print on it says off one entire order, as does the newsletter. The thing is, for the most part the I hear about stuff here. Though I often see posts here from people who have read the newsletter then I have to go back and check. Thx D
Martin Z
When I click the link in the update email of this post, it leads me to: http://http//https://www.accordancebible.com/forums/topic/23413-fyi-ðŸ“-newsletter-only-specials-beginning-in-april-°ðŸ—žï¸ There is a weird "http://http//"before the real link. In Safari, I see only one extra "http://". After I delete this extra information, the link works. This problem might worth digging into.

Martin Z
Hello Rick, I was not talking about that. I was talking about the super link in my email. See the super link at the bottom of the screenshot below. OK, I don't see the upload image function here. I uploaded the screenshot here: https://ibb.co/eeuV4n My point is: the forum seems to handle the subscription poorly. This itself is a problem that needs to be addressed. Also, could this be a related issue? Edited March 30, 2018 by martinacc

Fabian
I have deleted the subscription, because of the bad visual experience in Apple Mail. I have posted here on the forum a few year back one or two tread with images, to give you a visual oversight and to force you to improve it. But the answer was nearly "We won't and this happens". First I wrote direct to Helen and after I post it HERE. Since then I go always direct to the Blog or here in the forum. Greetings Fabian

R. Mansfield
Fabian, I followed your link in the message above, and the newsletter you don’t like is the one for Feedblitz, which just emails out a link every time the blog post rss changes. That is not the newsletter I’m talking about in this forum thread. It’s true that we really don’t have a lot of control over the Feedblitz email, and only a small number of people subscribe to that. Rather, I’m talking about our weekly sales newsletter. It’s our weekly sales newsletter that's going to include newsletter-only specials beginning in April, not the Feedblitz alert. Here’s a screenshot of last week’s sales newsletter (which looks awesome in Apple Mail!):
