User Note - Ordered list anomaly

Recommended Posts

My user notes practice has been to create an ordered list of a. b. c. d. ... for my user notes within each verse reference. Since installing 12.0.5 I have been troubled by a formatting bug of some sort.

When I attempt to type:

a.

I get:

a

I can back the cursor up  and retype the a. and then it will accept it as I intend it. I have not been able to duplicate this with consistency but it happens regularly and appear to be related to switching between the workspace and the notes edit window.

I'm wondering if anyone else is seeing this issue?

Joey, what system are you running on?  Can you perhaps post a video of you opening Accordance through reproducing the error?

I have been having this happen extensively to my user notes with 12.0.5.

Each time I add a new verse note with COMMAND + U, it puts a single letter on each line vertically up to 20 lines or more.  Usually I need to change font to have the letters continue on the same line.  Not good.

If I move to prior or latter verse note and then back to the target verse note the letters are now shown placed normally.

This happens in existing and new user note files.

Mick, the same questions apply to you - what system are you on, and can you post a video from Accordance starting -> User Notes problems?

I am having the same problem.

I have already updated to the latest MacOS and Accordance 12

Update: I am still having this problem but it appears to have something to do with the window sizing. If I drag the right edge of the edit window, the formatting appears to self correct. If I add a new note, it will repeat the problem but if i drag the window edge it will again auto correct. Eventually, the window with increase appears to resolve the problem so that subsequent note adds are not affected by this problem.

Joel,

12.0.6 does not exhibit the vertical typing during testing this morning.  Appreciate the prompt fix.

BTW, the testing worked even BEFORE that I additionally launched in Accordance Safe Mode and Cleaned Up Installed Fonts.
