Philosophyfiend
Hello, I have been using the new Paper functionality to build handouts for a course and I am liking it. I have found a few annoying things though: The whole app sometimes randomly crashes/force quits when doing any number of things in a Paper. e.g. creating new outline items, showing or hiding elements, dragging items around Within a Paper, outline items are sometimes displaced. Sometimes the 'content' or 'title' from one line will appear on another line elsewhere within the Paper. I believe it happens when editing an item (that item is the one which appears elsewhere), though I am not sure it happens exclusively when interacting with an item. It even seems to overwrite whatever was in that line beforehand! Outline items seem to randomly change formatting. Items of the same level in the hierarchy can sometimes change font, or font-size or boldness. In particular it often seems to want to change from the default Lato to Lucinda Grande. Obviously consistency is necessary for eye-pleasing papers. Not a bug per se, but we definitely need to be able to navigate items, create new items/sub-items, move items, etcetera from the keyboard! Thanks developers! I am enjoying this new feature and look forward to these things being sorted out in coming releases.
Philosophyfiend
Oops forgot one: 5. When you try to print or make a PDF from a Paper with only the 'Titles' showing and not any of the content, summaries, etc. it puts each title on a separate page. Yet with 'content' and/or other sections showing, it prints as one would expect an outline to print. i.e. with line-breaks rather than page-breaks between titles. joelmadasu
I just upgraded to 12. Where is the Paper function? Or how do I get to it?
Michael J. Bolesta
While working on a paper using the lecture template, I tried to add a sub-heading under a point, and Accordance crashed. Here is the log: Accordance Crash Log Program Version: 12.0.0 OS Version: 10.12.1 Message: Access violation Call trace: $00587479 $00599574 $00598F86 $0059D92A $0059D351 $000F7A59 $000ADE07 $0008CE64 $9ED37D1E $92C7E91D $9F7B92A8 $92C7E89D $00071638 $927B277F $927B24DA $927B1C3E $9283748F

Yet with 'content' and/or other sections showing, it prints as one would expect an outline to print. i.e. with line-breaks rather than page-breaks between titles. I have to agree. I quite like most of the Paper functionality but it is unfortunate that I cannot print the outline (only) of my paper. If I collapse everything, my outline is printed one line per page of paper. If I chose any single inclusion, i.e. Explanation, Content, Notes, etc, then I get the one page. More problematic then is that I cannot copy all the text without crashing the program. This prohibits copy & paste to another word editor.
