No way I am aware to edit history lists. But you can save Accordance windows/workspaces with pre-specified histories as a (locked) document which can be used again and again, much like document stationary. Since search histories are not tied to a particular text, this should work well for a iterative tool. You can save searches much the same way, a locked document as stationary.
