Ιακοβ
Hi guys, When I search for journal articles that use a specific verse, often I will get hundreds of irrelevant wider references. For example, if you search "Mark 14:51", the results include mostly things like "Mark 11-16" Is there a trick to work around this problem? it seems like one useful article gets buried within 99 useless articles. Thanks!
R. Mansfield
Use = (exact form) before the reference.
Ιακοβ
I have to say, after using the = function for a few days with the Journal search, this tiny little equals sign makes the difference between a thousand mostly useless results, and 10 mostly useful results! Using the equals sign is so beneficial to the Journal search, that its transformed the journal search task from one that I hate and avoid where possible, to now being one of the first things I will try when attempting to deal with a question of the text. (And creates enough value in this feature that I need to try and buy some of the other journal modules) Edited May 19, 2016 by Ιακοβ
Mark Allison
That is a good tip. I didn't realize it applied to scripture searches either!
