Buying for the first time

Hi,

 

I am a seminary student and I want to buy Accordance to help with my Greek and Hebrew studies, but I'm a little unsure about how to first get Accordance. I have been looking around the website and I really like the Academic Bundles I've seen. My question, though, is do I have to buy a collection first and then a bundle, or can I just buy the bundle directly?

Hi David--welcome to Accordance. Start with a Collection, and that will give you the Accordance engine. Afterwards, you can add any bundles or individual titles you like. Accordance is very modular, so you can customize your personal Accordance Library to your particular interests and studies.

There is a nice comparison of what the different collections have in them.  I have the Essential collection and have to say, I wish I had something like this when I was in seminary.

Also, when searching on the accordance web site, if you find a resource you want in accordance, scroll to the bottom of its description and you can see which sets that resource is part of iff applicable. Click on the link and you can see what other resources are in the set.

 

Gets a bit complicated when in two similar sets (like some of the lxx ones) but the links in sets is also very useful when th inking about resources and what to get.

We offer custom upgrades in order to advance to the higher collections, should you wish to do so at some point. Custom upgrades take into account what you already own and charge you only for the new material. You can choose to do this in steps in order to build your library of resources over time. You also have the option, as mentioned previously, to add individual titles or add on bundles.
