Indicate currently selected work in search area popup

When opening a work from the library, the tab shows a popup (left of the search area) with that work name showing.

 

But if you open the popup (or similarly the library) to switch to another work, the popup does not show which category the currently active work belongs to, nor does it show that item as selected in that category either.

 

Some kind of indication would be really helpful, especially when it's not immediately apparent which category a work belongs to.
