mrderek
Hi there I recently bought the theological journal library on special. I'm very happy about it indeed! I was wondering whether anyone had any highly recommended journal articles in the set that they'd recommend reading. It can be on any topic. I'm keen to know what articles have influenced people in their thinking over the years. Derek
Daniel Francis
SEMEIA: AN EXPERIMENTAL JOURNAL FOR BIBLICAL CRITICISM has several volumes I have enjoyed reading artles from but I do not know if that is in the package you have. If it is a series you have access to 42 and 47 have some really great articles MISTAKEN IDENTITIES BUT MODEL FAITH in JBL 123 was another particularly good article but again I am not sure if you have JOURNAL OF BIBLICAL LITERATURE. -Dan
Mark Allison
I recently enjoyed reading Merrill Unger's "The Significance of the Sabbath" in the Jan. 1966 issue of Bibliotheca Sacra. Short, but interesting.
Anthony Pyles
Muilenburg, James. “Form Criticism and Beyond.” JBL 88 (1969) 1–18. This article was Muilenburg's presidential address in 1968, and marks a watershed in biblical studies.
