Matthew Hauck
Is there a way to find the page numbers of non-Bible resources in Accordance? For example, I would like to cite NIDNTT information with volume number and page number. It is rather vague without it. Also, people (in other works) cite NIDNTT with volume/page info, and I am currently unable to look it up. I am sure I am not the only one who has asked this question. I tried searching, but could not find anything. This would be a great feature to have. Thanks for help!
Helen Brown
Yes, this question has come up many times. The answer is that whenever we receive an etext that includes page numbers we do include them and fully support them. They are placed in a separate field so they can be searched, they are displayed in a different color so they stand out in the text, and the page number of the current page is shown on the bar above the text pane. However many tools do not have page numbers, such as NIDNTT. It is a major project to add them into our formatted text, if they were not originally included. There is a useful topic about citations without page numbers with extensive discussion.
