Emanuel Cardona
Hello, I am in dear need of the indexes (at least the index of references) of the printed BDF. Is there anyone out there that can help a brother out and scan for me the indexes and send them to me via email or some other way, or even mail it to my home (send me a message for info please). I need them for my studies; I am missing just the indexes. I am still awaiting BDF on Accordance.... Thank you! Blessings! Emanuel
Timothy Jenney
OK, I have to ask, "What is 'BDF'?"
Emanuel Cardona
OK, I have to ask, "What is 'BDF'?" Sorry, BDF = A Greek Grammar of the New Testament and Other Early Christian Literature by F. Blass, A. Debrunner and Robert W. Funk.
jeremyduncan
BDF is still pretty standard at a lot of seminaries.

Anthony Sepulveda
+1 Any good chance of getting this in Accordance?
Ken Simpson
BDF is very good. I’d love to have it. Moulton-Howard-Turner would be my number one choice though,
Emanuel Cardona
BDF is very good. I’d love to have it. Moulton-Howard-Turner would be my number one choice though, I own only volume 3 of the entire 4 volumes set. If I may ask, when doing grammatical analysis, which volume(s) do you consult the most? And, what are your thoughts on the Grammatical Insights volume by Turner? Thank you.
Ken Simpson
Hi Emmanuel, I have posted this in a PM as well... Hi Emanuel, I nearly always consult Daniel Wallace’s book as a first port of call. Greek Grammar Beyond the Basics. There are three reasons for this, it is focussed on Koiné Greek, it is quite good, and I have it on Accordance, so I can look it up very quickly. If I want to go further I first go to BDF - because it is focussed on NT Greek and quite accessible. But my Gold Standard is MHT, as I am more classically trained. As LSJ is my Gold Standard lexicon (though less used that BDAG). I am sorry, but I don’t feel in a good position to comment on Turner as I have used it by far the least of the 5 volumes. It’s interesting, but not a very frequented tome (I don;t even own it, I borrow it from my local seminary library when needed). My first four volumes are well-thumbed though. Sorry I can’t be of more help.

Ken Simpson
Emanuel, do you still need the scripture index? I will scan and send it to you if you still need it (but it will be next week before I get to it).

Jonathan C. Borland
I've been wanting BDF in Accordance since I switched to Accordance in 2011. Apparently there is no etext to license and properly proofing and tagging a dense grammar like BDF from scanned images requires inordinate man hours. I think it would be profitable since it's such a standard work and most would buy it without hesitation, and I hope it will be prepared eventually, but I stopped holding my breath. My trusty hard copy (when I'm in my office) is still indispensable.

Rick Bennett
FYI: This work is under copyright, and we do not endorse distributing it.

Joe Weaks
BDF is a regular request, and for obvious reasons. FYI, here would be the appropriate ancient topic for adding your +1 for BDF.
Rick Bennett
We're still working on options for creating / obtaining an e-text. Hope is not lost, but no major advances either. I'm confident we'll eventually get it worked out.
Law N Gospel
Logos appears to have this module. Where might they have obtained an e-text?

Helen Brown
We hope to have this fairly soon, but I am sure it won't be the German version.
