davidmedina
With Acc. 11 I noticed that when I click in the top left green dot it goes full screen now. Is there a way I can set that to just maximize the screen as in Acc 10? I am guessing that this is a behavior tide to Mavericks/Yosemite but I prefer to have the choice to just maximize and still have my menu visible. Can it be done? Thanks. Joel Brown
Just option-click the button in Yosemite. Its an OS X change, common to all apps.
davidmedina
Thanks, Joel. I figure that that was the case. I notice that all the Yosemite optimize apps do that while older non-optimize Yosemite apps dont.
R. Mansfield
Let me also recommend BetterSnapTool in the Mac App Store:https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/bettersnaptool/id417375580?mt=12 With it you just grab the title bar of any application, push it against the top of the screen and it expands to full screen. It's also handy for putting apps side by side automatically (like say, Accordance and a word processor) without having to manually adjust them. You can even put apps into quadrants on the screen. I've been using it for a couple of years now and find it really useful--especially for the price ($1.99).
