Nicholous Rogers
Hi, all ... been having a bad two days. Accordance starting acting up on me late Friday and to make a long story shorter, I ended up trying it reinstall from scratch. I used RevoUninstaller which is pretty good at finding most if not all of the leftover files, folders and registry entries; to remove Accordance. Now, it goes through the setup process pretty smoothly until it's time to do easy install. Then sometimes after only downloading some of the modules or if it downloads all of them, once you click to install the modules I get the "Windows error: Accordance has stopped working." Anyone got some suggestions as what I might try if the current attempt fails ... right now, the module download process is at Item 43 of 141. Thanks, Nicholous Rogers
Ken Simpson
Hi Nicoholous, something I do as a matter of course is just download a few at a time. With sometimes flaky internet, it means that I get things going in increments. It does slow the process down a little, but I rarely get the issue you describe when I do this. Anyway, it can't hurt to try. I am not giving tech advice, just a workaround...
Nicholous Rogers
Many thanks to Michele of Accordance support ... my problem is taken care of with the 10.4 beta ver. Also, thanks for the reply Ken! Great suggestion! Nicholous

Douglas Fyfe
i'm also having issues with 8.1 (new work computer, now 3 days old). the crash thing happened a bit when I was trying to set it up - which is mostly fixed now it's all downloaded. the ongoing issue though is I'm unable to open a parallel pane. i have to tie zones together as a workaround. has anyone else had this? any suggestions? is there a setting to disallow this which may have been inadvertently selected? cheers doug
Helen Brown
Which version are you using? I I am sure this has been fixed, but may not be released yet.
Gedalya
I have had a number of program crashes since updating and using version 10.4.0.pr1 on Windows 7 as well. On plus side, the response of accordance's tech support on skype has been superb in helping me reinstall the program when necessary. Thanks so much for the wonderful tech support. Douglas Fyfe
i just re-downloaded the .exe file again (didn't delete the old) and it seems to be working fine. guess this should be first on list of things to try! thanks.
Helen Brown
I hope you are now using the release of 10.4 not the early pre-release. On Windows there is no easy way to reset the original preference to check for updates or not, on every launch. So if yours does not, please check often. Douglas Fyfe
Yes, it's a new work computer, so the newest version. I was just wondering if it was a windows 8.1 thing.
Nicholous Rogers
I should have gotten back on this earlier ... sorry ... 10.4 seems to have taken care of the issues I was having. I know we tend to point out the problems quickly enough (at least I'm guilty) but I wanted to make sure that I came back to say my issues were resolved with the 10.4 update. Congrats on an excellent product! Nicholous Rogers
