We have released ZECNT-15 this week.

ZECNT-15 adds the Philippians volume by George H. Guthrie.

We’ve made two major improvements to the series compared to previous releases.

First, we have fixed the graphical translations which are so characteristic of this series. When the original combined module was released years ago under the module name "ZEC-NT", the graphically laid-out translations for the 8 volumes that formed that original combined module were never finished. The result was that those 8 volumes in our Accordance modules did not match the print book and did not reflect the author’s deliberate clause-by-clause and phrase-by-phrase alignment of words over multiple lines. The eight volumes are Matthew, Luke, Acts, Galatians, Ephesians, Colossians & Philemon, 1 & 2 Thessalonians, and James. They have been available for purchase separately as well as within the combined modules ZEC-NT, ZECNT-11, and ZECNT-14. With ZECNT-15 these 8 volumes have graphical translations that accurately reproduce the lay-out of the print volumes. The other 7 volumes, which were developed later, have always been accurate from their original releases.

Second, we have added a new field to the entire series called “Discourse Labels”. This field is for searching the labels which the commentary authors have placed to the left of their translations of the text. As the introduction to the series explains, these labels are informed by the study of discourse analysis generally and are also informed by narrative criticism in the gospels and Acts.

There will be no option to transfer highlights from the previous combined modules in this series (ZEC-NT, ZECNT-11, and ZECNT-14) to ZECNT-15 due to the fact that correcting the graphical translations required the addition and the removal of numerous paragraphs.

If you own previous combined modules in this series, or any of its individual volumes as a separate module and you don’t intend at this time to purchase the upgrade, see the sister post in the “Module Corrections” forum for information on updates that are being released for those volumes.
