Setting Up Torah Portions Separated Out by Aliyot?

Can someone give me some advice on the best way to go about setting it up with Torah Portions separated out by each of the 7 Aliyot? Maybe a glossary page or a folder with subfolders etc...?

I'd like to be able to quickly open an Aliyah without having to search for and find the exact verses each time. Ideally, I'd like it to open up only the verses of that Aliyah that I choose with Hebrew in one panel & English on a panel to the side.

I realize it will take some work to put together. Or perhaps someone has already put something like this together?

I think there are a few different ways to go about this (as long as I am understanding what you are wanting to do).

Here is one way..

(1) First I open my library and I scroll down to the Rabbanic tool folder/section

(2) Then I click open the Rabbinc folder, and I click the 'readings and prayers for Jewish worship' module/tool

(3) At the top of my pane you can that the 38th Parish is Korach which is the Parasha for annual Jewish cycle of Torah reading. This year Korach will be read on the 6 July 2024 or on 30 Sivan 5784. Then I click on the light blue hyperlinked text and a window/pane opens with the reading for Korach:

Thanks Brian, unfortunately, I don't have the Rabbinics Bundle. I did however, find a site  where I was able to download a spreadsheet where I could copy and paste into a User Tool.

My question now is when I click a verse link within a User Tool is there a way to have it open with a Hebrew Parallel window opened automatically next to the English or will I just need to open it manually each time?

I think Readings and Prayers for Jewish Worship has it. I can post a screenshot.

I could write up a product spotlight and produce a video as well.

In settings you can change with Bible versions popup when you click on the hypertext in tools/user tools but there does not seem to be an option to have two Bible version popup/appear automatically when you click on the hypertext:

After you click the first link from the User Tool, add your Hebrew Parallel and turn on "Content is Recycled". Save this as a workspace.

Next time you need to open links from any User Tools, open them in this workspace, and you'll have the instant parallel Bible each time.

@Dr. Nathan Parker I think this sounds like a great candidate to make a QuikTip video on.

I'm sorry but I am not seeing how to do this. Is there a How-To video that goes over this?

@blgriffin83 here is one way to go about it:

(1) first open your user tool or the Reading & Prayers for Jewish Worship module if you have it.

(2) Then clink on one the links. Because this weeks readings will come from Korach I will click on Num. 16.1-18:32

Screenshot2024-07-08at21_12_41.thumb.png.aa2e7d73048f8d2124f5679e8b3f22b6.png

Clicking in the link opened the ETCBC

(3a) Now, click on Add Parallel

(3b) And choose your prefered parallel text. I choose the JPS 1985.

Screenshot2024-07-08at21_24_14.thumb.png.b13fd0baa32698fe23620b925b02e36e.png

(4a) After your parallel text opens take some time to arrange and customize your new workspace

(4b) Then click on the Recycle button/icon to set as "Content is Recycled"

Screenshot2024-07-08at21_25_17.thumb.png.04c63e0f15473ebc97d7382e8932323e.png

(5a)after every thing is set up name and save your new workspace. To do that "click on File" and then scroll down till you see "save as".

(at the very top of your screen (if you are on a Mac) you should see: Accordance - File - Edit - Search- Display- Selection - Amplify - Window -help )

(5b) then save:

Screenshot2024-07-08at21_31_59.png.0c40974b6a749f1d8b041f4e0796923e.png

(6) Now whenever you want you can open you new workspace to Korach or wherever you last saved/updated your workspace.

Screenshot2024-07-08at22_00_43.thumb.jpg.805f8a99b9fe19d58ca2340180e76fe4.jpg

Now whenever I click on my Parashot workspace it will open with the Reading Prayers and a Hebrew / English parallel.

I decided that I would like my workspace to always open to Genesis 1:1 then on the left side of my screen I can quickly scroll down to whatever Parashot or Haftarah I want to read and when I click on it the English/Hebrew parallel on the right side of my screen will automaticall update to my selected Parashot.
