Pressing the X in the top right-hand corner a thousand times does nothing and going to 'file' and 'quit' does nothing. I suppose that Accordance is trying to do some sort of dropbox sync, but it has been an hour and my only choice left is to use Task Manager to shut down Accordance. From experience, using Task Manager to shut down Accordance has a track record of corrupting the notes, so this is not a viable option if I want to continue enjoying not having corrupted notes.
