He spent time with Leningradensis (the real one) in 2011 and 2013. He has convinced me that even the color photographs are inadequate. And Dotan 2001 didn't even have that. He used the monochrome version of Zuckerman's color photographs as printed in The Leningrad Codex: A Facsimile Edition (1998). Someone with a magnifying glass and a thorough knowledge of scribal forensics has to examine it in person.

I am glad you found this article; it had a big influence on me and my work on tanach.us (UXLC), both in my own change proposals and in reviewing other contributors' change proposals.
