Empty Notes in IOS App

Hi,

I tried searching and scrolling through existing post but can't seem to find a similar issue someone else is having.

I have notes for a the book "Give me a Word" which is in the "WRITINGS" category, not a Bible "Text"

I can open this notes file on the IOS app. But it shows blank content. Because the IOS app automaticaly goes to GEN 1:1 within the Note
GEN 1:1 is empty within this NOTE because this note file doesn't have any notes on GEN 1:1. It only has Notes for the book "Give me a Word"

When I click the 4 lines (Paragraph/Chapter browser) within the note.
It only displays me the books/chapters of bible text (Gen till Rev) . And because it only shows this range i cannot select the book "Give me a Word". 
 However If I do this on the desktop version. It displays the correct chapters/paragraphs of the note. See picture.

I hope this is a clear enough explanation without pictures. The

Whenever I open a "My Tools" on the IOS app it does show me the correct paragraph browser (4 lines)
Only when I select "My Notes" it shows the BOOKS of the Bible instead of the correct Paragraph.

Can you post a screenshot of what you're seeing in iOS?

I also created a new notes files , it does the same. It goes to gen1:1

After selecting a note, It Goes to Gen 1:1

When I click the 4 lines, It only show my only these chapters.

Are these being created on the iOS app or on the Desktop app and synced with the iOS app?

The original post was made because I synced Desktop Notes to IOS.

But I then created a Test Note on IOS. And it is showing the same issue.

I can of course try re-installing IOS app. But I am looking if this is a common issue.

Can you send me a DM with your note file? Are you using Dropbox or Wi-Fi Syncing?

I used Dropbox Sync originally, and it synced the files correctly.

 

Then to i tried to used WiFi Sync, that didn’t seem to work and gave error.

 

Now i tried switching back to Dropbox sync now that is broken for desktop. I made a support ticket for this.

Uninstalling IOS app doesn't make a difference.

I'm looking further into this for you. It looks like the iOS app may not be able to read User Notes attached to Tools (only Bible texts) at the moment. 

 

This might make for a good Feature Request to post.
