Change default font on templates in Papers

Is there a way to change the default font on the sermon templates in Papers? I have tried going to the "Set Paper Display" option and changing the defaults there, but every time I load a new template it is always set for the Lato font. I want to be able to change it to 14-point Arial font every time I open a new sermon template. Otherwise, I have to keep switching back and forth to Word.

When you start a new sermon, after opening the blank page and before you add anything, type CMD-T (Ctrl-T on windows) to open the Set Paper Display tool. Make any changes there you wish to become the future default and make sure you click the Use as Default button on the lower left of the tool.
