I found a forum entry for this from 2017, but when I logged-in the site wide search yielded no results. Surely this is possible? If not, I would like to export my notes and search them in a text editor. This also doesn't appear possible. I can't understand this. Please help! mgvh Posted October 20, 2021 Share Posted October 20, 2021 Yes, it has been requested that user notes be saved in a more widely used format (RTF, DOC) or at least be exportable in a common text file. For now, do this: Open the note file in its own tab From the File menu, select Print. Choose to print to PDF. At least you have a PDF file you can search. Kristin Posted October 20, 2021 Share Posted October 20, 2021 It is also important to do. I am having a username problem at the moment and have contacted tech support. I am sure they will be able to help me (tech is always super helpful), but in the meantime I am totally trapped out of everything. Even my own notes I have written. 😢 So it is important to back stuff up you write. I hope in an update notes are naturally stored outside of the program on your computer, so that you can at least access them if something odd happens.
