unable to sign out of forum

i'll sign out of the forum (signs me out), leave accordance website, then later come back to the forum and i'm still signed in.

 

using safari 6.0.3

 

anyone else experience this?

Same thing happens to me. It's a cookie issue from what I was able to figure out once. The issue happens if one quits the browser and then come back to the forum after starting the browser again. It also happens with any browser.

What is the advantage of signing out?

Yeah - I don't much worry about not signing out, either. It's not like we're doing top-secret stuff! The only time I've had to sign back in was when I cleared all my cookies. Probably a good idea to clear them occasionally, right?
