Stuart Robertson
Just updated to 9.5.5 along with the Mounce Dictionary update. When I triple-click on a word in ESVS Mounce Dictionary opens (my preference, for now). However, Mounce is opened with the G/K number selected instead of the Strongs number. For example, triple-clicking on "God" in ESVS opens Mounce Dictionary to show entry with G/K number 2316 (which is not the correct underlying word). Changing Mounce to search Strongs numbers correctly shows "theos". The change from G/K to Strongs is needed each time a word is triple-clicked, which gets tedious pretty fast. Tony Lawrence
A temporary work-around is to move Greek Keys to the top of your list under Greek Tools and Hebrew Keys to the top of your Hebrew Tools. I am sure this will be fixed soon (or perhaps is a new feature and I did not see the settings in the preferences). Tony Lawrence
Helen Brown
Yes, it's a bug related to the release of the NIV11-GK. We should have a fix for it soon. Thanks, Tony, for the work-around.
Helen Brown
We have posted 9.5.6 which corrects the bug (and yes, we tested it carefully).
pammm56
I have version 9.5.6 and when I triple click on the NIV-G/K I do not get the Strong's entry as before. Nothing happens.
Helen Brown
Please upgrade again as 9.5.6 addresses this problem.
Stuart Robertson
I've just upgraded to 9.5.6 and the problem is still there - sort of. What I mean is that now, though I have Mounce's dictionary at the top of the list of Greek reference tools, when I triple-click on a word in ESVS, say, Greek Keys opens up (instead of Mounce dictionary). Tony Lawrence
The ESVS is tied to Strongs whereas the NIV G/K, NIV11 G/K, and Mounce are tied to the G/K numbering system. TL
Stuart Robertson
I'm aware that ESVS is tied to Strongs, etc. However, prior to v9.5.5 when I triple-clicked on a word in ESVS, Mounce Dictionary would open up and the correct entry would be selected (that is, Strongs-based entry). Then 9.5.5 introduced the bug that caused triple-clicking to open Mounce Dictionary and search for a G/K entry (albeit using the Strongs number obtained from ESVS), resulting in Mounce Dictionary showing the incorrect (G/K-based) entry (since the Strongs number was being looked up as a G/K entry. Now, however, triple-clicking always opens Greek Keys instead of Mounce dictionary. That's what I tried (perhaps not very clearly) to report above. Rick Bennett
Our current method is to 'tie' certain tagged texts and dictionaries together. All the 'S' Strong's texts we developed in-house (except for KJVS) are tied to Greek/Hebrew Keys. NAS95S is tied to NAS Greek/Hebrew. NIV-G/K is tied to NIV Greek/Hebrew. NIV11-GK is tied to Mounce Greek & Kohlenberger-Mounce Hebrew. These in fact are planned to replace our Greek/Hebrew Keys, but more work is needed to fully adapt them to the Strong's system we use. In addition, we are also discussing revamping the entire triple-click method to accord better with our other lexicons. Apologies for any confusion in all this. We're working toward a streamlined workflow that will help you to quickly access these resources.
Helen Brown
Stuart: Only the Mounce-NT and now the NIV11-GK are tied to Mounce Greek Dictionary. You may have been able to amplify to the Dictionary from ESVS, but it did not work for a triple-click.
Ruben Gomez
Note, however, than when I triple-click NIV-G/K, Accordance amplifies to KM Hebrew Dictionary and Mounce Dictionary, instead of the previous NIV Hebrew and NIV Greek. Am I missing something?
Timothy Jenney
Ruben, I confirm your experience. NIV-G/K and NIV11-G/K are both now linked to KM Hebrew and the Mounce Dictionary. I consider that a good thing! :-) Programmers: I'm running Accordance 9.5.6 on OSX 10.7.3 with all current module updates installed.

Rick Bennett
Note, however, than when I triple-click NIV-G/K, Accordance amplifies to KM Hebrew Dictionary and Mounce Dictionary, instead of the previous NIV Hebrew and NIV Greek. Am I missing something? It was an unintended outcome of the NIV11-GK fix in 9.5.5. It has been addressed for a future update.
