jarcher
I am trying to find a way to make my search of the theological journals (and some other tools) easier. When you search a journal the search window returns a list of hits based upon the name of the paragraph in which the hit was found. For example, in the picture below I searched for the Greek content 'protos' and was given the follow list of hits. (See 1st Picture) As you can see from the list there are two hits under BibSac that are listed under two seperate articles. However, the difficult thing about this is that they both appear in the section of the article called "Conclusion". When hits are listed this way it can become extremely frustrating to find out exactly what you're even reading. You would think that it would be easy to see what the article title is by clicking on the hit link. However, if you do that you still only see the section title (ie conclusion) in the location field. (See Second Picture) As far as I can tell, the only way to actually get the title is by opening the browser window and navagating through the journal until you locate the article that is currently open. This can be a long process if you're searching through many hits. There seems to be one really easy fix to this problem. If you could set Accordance to always open the tool browser when a new tool is opened then you could always see where you are located in the tool. Does anyone know if that is possible or have any other ideas? Thanks! Jeremy
Helen Brown
If you hold the option key as you click the triangle in the browser, it opens all the levels to show you exactly where the article at the top of the window is. That is the only shorcut I can think of right now.
