Can someone please let me know how to search for every verse in the NT that ends with a particular word? I need to find all verses (I believe there are more than one) that end with the word γαρ. Thank you in advance, Charles.

@laflauta you can accomplish what you are trying to do with the following search: γαρ <WITHIN 1 Words> [FIELD END]

Hope that helps.

Edit: Forgot to mention that the search condition 'Scope' has to be set to 'Verse'

Hi @darrylmy,

That is really interesting. I had thought there wasn't a way to do that.

Hi @Kristin, yeah, Accordance is really great for OL research as you know, which is why I'm still hanging on to hope that they will turn this ship around.

Just a note to add to this. FIELD begin and FIELD end relate to the Scope set in the Scope drop down in the search bar. Brings up some different search possibilities.

Thank you for the suggestion. It did fine John 13:13; however, oddly, it didn't find Mark 16.8. (I also thought there was one in Matthew, but I might be mistaken.)

This is because the default search is set to a word within a verse. In N-A, Mk 16:8 continues on after ἐφοβοῦντο γάρ. What you want to do is set the "Scope" limit "Sentence". This will give you Mk 16:8 and a few more:
