miketisdell Posted January 7 Posted January 7 This morning I clicked on the library icon to open the library window and Accordance locked up and crashed a few seconds later. Note: This is one of a number of instabilities that I have seen in 14.0.11 and I did not notice these instabilities in the last beta prior to the release. It appears that something was changed after the last beta before the release was made that is causing the software to be instable.
Dr. Nathan Parker Posted January 7 Posted January 7 Keep us posted if you see more of these. I'll let our programmers know.
Mike Atnip Posted January 7 Posted January 7 I have not had this issue on either or my two windows machines. While I occasionally have a crash, I would consider the last couple of iterations of to be much more stable than when I first got Accordance over two years ago.
Dr. Nathan Parker Posted January 8 Posted January 8 @miketisdell One thing you could try is Accordance Safe Mode and see if the issues you're seeing either resolves themselves or lessens.

What options are you suggesting in safe mode? Note: I do not want to loose my configurations for testing purposes and I don't want to disable notes or highlights for normal usage. Note: the issue is not repeatable but happens randomly. The normal symptom is that I can scroll the text, but cannot click on anything i.e. buttons etc... do not work. Most of the time I do not get the crash, but I do have to exit and restart before clicking on anything works again. I am typically seeing this every few days.
Dr. Nathan Parker Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Tech Support always recommends trying these: If you're still getting random crashes after that, keep me posted.
