Sorin Covaci Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 I am a Romanian pastor in the U.S., a theology professor, and a hospital chaplain. I want to suggest a newer version of a Romanian translation of the Bible. Cornilescu translation is the most widely read Bible in Romania. This year, the evangelical community celebrated the 100th anniversary of its first edition, marked by the release of the Cornilescu Centenary Edition 2024 (https://societateabiblica.org/). Another widely used version is The New Romanian Translation 2021, available through Biblica (https://www.biblica.com/online-bible/). I hope that they will be included in the Accordance database. It will be a great offer for our community of believers. During a recent visit to Romania, I had the privilege of meeting with pastors, laypeople, and students. In our conversations, we discussed the advantages of using technology as a tool for studying the Bible. The younger generation, in particular, is increasingly inclined toward digital platforms, and Accordance stands out for its user-friendly interface and excellent resources. I have recommended it to my students and friends, many of whom already use and greatly appreciate your software. Respectfully, Sorin G. Covaci 1
Dr. Nathan Parker Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 Sounds good! Once I start Bible development, maybe I can work on this.
