mgvh
I have students using Mac. We are trying to use the Gospel Parallels (Aland) tool. It does not show up in their library. Went to Easy Install. It did offer us option to install it along with the other parallel tools. (which is odd, because both students did full installs) Checked boxes to download. Clicked download. Download progress shown. Popup for Install? >> Yes ... and then nothing happens. Tools still do not show. Tried restarting Accordance but still no parallels. What's the solution? (I'm a Win guy, so detailed help for Mac would be appreciated.)
Dr. Nathan Parker
It might be a 14.0.9 issue we're correcting in the next update. I'd recommend emailing Tech Support in the meantime.
Anthony Estes
I am having a similar issue. I have spoken with tech support who told me they were aware of the problem. I was told the solution was underway and would work itself out in time. That was 24 hours ago. Im hoping the good Lord will remember me today. Iconoclaste
If you open the Library pane and click on the + button, select “Add new modules...”. It should open a popup file explorer titled (“Add modules: Select one or more modules[...]”). Open the “Tools” folder and find the module you are trying to install (it will be named by its module name, which may not match the library name. The module name is the same as the Prod ID on the store website) and select “Open”. At this point, it should show up in your Accordance Library. Does that work? mgvh
@Iconoclaste We tried Easy Install again. The Parallel Tools seem to download but don't appear. Followed the steps you suggested for adding a module manually, but they did not appear in the Tools directory. Is there a way to download the parallel tools directly and then use the Add Module step you describe? Thanks.

accord
The updates for LSB and NASB 2020 put the updates in the "Parallel" Library category which would not open. Deleted them and the updates no longer existed. Mac OS 12.7.6 Accordance 14.0.

Dr. Nathan Parker
The modules installing in "parallels" will be resolved in 14.0.010. The LSB Notes issue has been reported. That might just be a simple module fix since it's occurring in 13 and 14.

I repeated my attempt to update the LSB Notes module from version 2.5 to version 2.6 on 2024-08-27 around 19:00 ET. This time the installation was successful and the new version stuck. (I did not uninstall the LSB and LSB Notes modules prior to this attempt, as has been discussed in another thread.) Thanks to whomever at Accordance fixed this!
