Accordance Enthusiast
Hi, I'm doing a simple LETTERS search and the results are not correct. Could anyone confirm? I want three letters between the first "ה" and the second "ה", but the wildcard "?" does not work.
Accordance Enthusiast
I see this is because I used the = sign. Nevertheless, the results shown above are odd, they neither match a letters search nor a lemma search.
Accordance Enthusiast
So I tested a Lemma search and here is the results:
Accordance Enthusiast
The above results show that the wildcard "?" does not work the way it should in Lemma searches.
accord
On Mac I get 105 results for either words, or a letters search using " ". Are the results below more in line with what you were thinking?

Thans @accord for letting me know. @Dr. Nathan Parker, could you please report the above as a Windows specific bug? Dr. Nathan Parker
This is only on Windows, correct? Not on Mac?
Accordance Enthusiast
Yes @Dr. Nathan Parker, according to @accord the search is working on Mac. But it is definitely not working for me on Windows. Perhaps you also want to test this when you have a moment?
Ken Simpson
Yeah, @accord is correct. Not having windows to test on at the moment, I can't confirm or deny the W problem but certainly the enclosing quotes in a word search is the way to go. Dr. Nathan Parker
Thanks! I'll test this on Windows Monday and file a bug report if I can confirm it. If not, I'll show it to someone else with a Windows PC and see if they can confirm it.
Dr. Nathan Parker
I forgot to do the quotes on my Windows PC. @Accordance Enthusiast, you still get the error with the quotes, correct?

Dr. Nathan Parker
Question: Are you supposed to use both equals and quotation marks or just quotation marks? I've noticed you have both.
Accordance Enthusiast
Hi @Dr. Nathan Parker, either way I don't get the results I am looking for: Now only with the "" - it does an INFLECTED search whereas I want to do a LEMMA search with wildcards: The above results are correct for INFLECTED search, but is not limited to LEMMAS - which is what I'm after. I want to find lexical forms which have a ה at the start and at the end, plus any three letters in the center. Accordance is supposed to be able to do that by using the wildcard symbol ? in a LEMMA search. To put it simply, the Accordance program does not take note that I used three ???, and the results are as if I used only one ?:
