Lawrence
System: Windows 11, Accordance 14.0.9, multiple monitors 1. Open any non-Accordance app that you can type in (e.g. a web browser). 2. Type something in the app to get a baseline for how responsive it is. There's very little lag between when I type and when the characters are displayed. This is normal. 3. Open Accordance and click the help icon (circle with a question mark). A web browser tab shows up inside Accordance. 4. Go back to the non-Accordance app and start typing. There's now a lag of a few seconds between typing and when the characters are displayed. This is bad. 5. In Accordance, close the web browser tab that was opened in step 2. 6. Go back to the non-Accordance app and start typing. The lag has gone away, and the system is back to the responsiveness of step 2. Accordance's built-in web browser seems to be slowing down the whole PC just by being open. Task Manager (from ctrl-alt-del) shows that CPU and RAM aren't anywhere near maxed out.
mgvh
I also Windows 11, Accordance 14.0.9, multiple monitors I think this is a known problem for a while. My solution is to click on that little arrow in upper right to send it to your default browser. (Firefox for me.) Hmmm... I just tried it now, and there was no lag at all running the browser inside Accordance.
Dr. Nathan Parker
@miketisdell reported this problem a while back and may be able to elaborate on it.

Yes, this is the same problem I have reported. Any progress on getting it fixed?

Dr. Nathan Parker
It's on the list for us to look into, but I don't have a specific ETA. Our goal at the moment is to get syncing finished, but after that, we can look into items like this.
Dr. Nathan Parker
Update: We actually don't have an official bug report on this one at the moment since none of us can reproduce it yet. Next time it happens to any of you, please email specific steps to reproduce it to Tech Support (and if you can perform a screen recording, that'd even be the icing on the cake), so we can further investigate it.
