A. Smith Posted October 4, 2023 Share Posted October 4, 2023 I use shortcuts to automate a lot of my workflow. One of them is to launch the various tools I use for exegesis with one shortcut. Right now, I'm using 14.0.8rc1 and the name of the app is actually Accordance14Aleph. So I've got a few questions. First, will this app update to the full release version or will I need to install that separately? Second, if it will update automatically, I assume the app name will change to simply Accordance, correct? Third, since I've now removed my non functional accordance 14.7 app, is there a problem if I rename Accordance14Aleph to simply Accordance? They share most of the same preferences and all of the Application Support files. Comments below: 1 hour ago, A. Dr. Nathan Parker Posted October 4, 2023 Share Posted October 4, 2023 Accordance14Aleph is a separate app from Accordance. You can now download a fresh copy of 14.0.8 from our downloads site. It won't remove any of your modules or settings. That'll get your "production" copy of Accordance back online. Accordance14Aleph and "production" Accordance can be run on the same machine, so if you want to keep the Aleph around to beta test it, you're welcome to.
