drmatt.thomas
Hi all, I've had something happening for quite awhile--across several versions of Accordance. The Instant Details, which I like to keep as the floating window, often just disappears. I end up having to turn it off & on again, then clicking to set it again in floating mode to get it back. I just did a bit of fiddling around, and it seems to happen when I have more than one Workspace open at the same time, although I'll have to pay attention to see if this is always the case. Anyone else having the floating window disappear from time to time? It's not a dealbreaker, but it is annoying and time-consuming to deal with. Nathan Parker
What version of Accordance and Windows?
drmatt.thomas
I'm currently running Accordance 14.0.7.0 in Windows 11 (10.0.22621), but it's happened off and on through at least the past few Accordance versions.
Nathan Parker
Do you have a screenshot of this?
drmatt.thomas
Yes, here's a screenshot. I don't restart the program that often, so it took awhile for it to happen again. I'm not sure how much help the image will be, since there's just a lack of the ID. -Matt
Nathan Parker
Double check your Instant Details preferences to see if they look like this.
Gary Raynor
I have the same issue. After a lengthy period of use the floating instant details windows goes and stays under the accordance main window. I fix it by toggling between fixed pane and floating window. Apart from English transliteration set to off my settings are identical to Nathan's example. drmatt.thomas
Thanks, @Nathan Parker. The only differences I had from your Instant Details Display settings is fonts set at Very Large (I've left that for now), and I had the Automatically fade when floating box checked. I like it to fade when I'm not actively using it, but I've unchecked it to see how that affects things. @Gary Raynor Sounds exactly like what I've been experiencing. Lorinda H. M. Hoover
I've had it disappear, too. I usually turn it off and turn it back on to reset it.
