Formatting differences in imported user notes between v13 and v14

When using the File > User Files > Import Notes Folder... command in 14.0.7, I noticed a particular difference in the formatting of the imported user notes when compared to using the same command in 13.3.4/13.4.2. In v13, each imported note begins on a new line after the verse reference:

Whereas, now in v14, each imported note begins on the same line as the verse reference:

Could someone from Accordance please comment if this change is by design, or if it should be reported as a bug? Thanks!

Can you give me a sample user notes file to test?

@Nathan Parker Sure. Those screenshots are based on the same importable user notes folder I had uploaded in one of my recent bug reports. Attached here (notes-test.zip) for your convenience.

Great. Thanks! Do I need to test this on a Windows PC or Mac?

The screenshots in the OP are from the Windows version. If you're looking to confirm the behavior's not platform-specific, then I guess a Mac test would be in order.

Thanks! I'll test this tomorrow and report back.

I can confirm this is occurring on my Windows PC, but not on my Mac. My Mac imports the same as your Accordance 13 screenshot.

Also, with this import, I did get the super-slow performance importing the files on my bare-metal Windows 11 machine and the app crash. On my Mac, it was super speedy and no crash.

Let me show this to a colleague and see. This could be a potential bug report.

Thanks for letting us know!

Moving this to Bug Swatters Windows in case we need to track it as a bug report.
