Brian Phillips
I'm going through some of the tutorials, and more than once (with different tutorials) Accordance has crashed while setting a preference / settings option during the tutorial. If there's a better way to report this, please let me know. This crash is repeatable, using the Tutorial, "Using Live Click to Study a Verse". The crash happens when clicking "Interaction: Delayed" in the Preferences > Live Click setting > Options. This is repeatable when going through the tutorial, but not when just setting the option in settings while not going through a tutorial. After the crash, the "delayed" setting is not set. macOS 13.4.1 (c) (22F770820d) processor 3.3 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i5 graphics AMD Radeon Pro 5300 4 GB Memory 32 GB 2667 MHz DDR4 Accordance 14.0.6 Accordance Crash Log 7/24/23, 6:22:17 AM Accordance 14.0.6 (14.0.6) CPU: x86_64 MacOS 13.4.1 "Ventura" Message: Access violation Address: $0000000000000000 Backtrace: 0 ??? 0x0000000000000000 0x0 + 0 1 acord 0x000000010cbf77f8 acord + 8091640 2 acord 0x000000010cbf5cca acord + 8084682 3 acord 0x000000010c5b6d57 acord + 1535319 4 acord 0x000000010c4f5533 acord + 742707 5 CoreFoundation 0x00007ff8070d8358 __CFRUNLOOP_IS_CALLING_OUT_TO_A_TIMER_CALLBACK_FUNCTION__ + 20 6 CoreFoundation 0x00007ff8070d7ed3 __CFRunLoopDoTimer + 807 7 CoreFoundation 0x00007ff8070d7af9 __CFRunLoopDoTimers + 285 8 CoreFoundation 0x00007ff8070bde39 __CFRunLoopRun + 2206 9 CoreFoundation 0x00007ff8070bcf31 CFRunLoopRunSpecific + 560 10 HIToolbox 0x00007ff810b38dad RunCurrentEventLoopInMode + 292 11 HIToolbox 0x00007ff810b38bbe ReceiveNextEventCommon + 657 12 HIToolbox 0x00007ff810b38918 _BlockUntilNextEventMatchingListInModeWithFilter + 64 13 AppKit 0x00007ff80a1515d0 _DPSNextEvent + 858 14 AppKit 0x00007ff80a15047a -[NSApplication(NSEvent) _nextEventMatchingEventMask:untilDate:inMode:dequeue:] + 1214 15 AppKit 0x00007ff80a142ae8 -[NSApplication run] + 586 16 acord 0x000000010c4d0bfe acord + 592894 Binaries: 0x000000000c440000 /Applications/Accordance.app/Contents/MacOS/acord 0x000000010d724000 /Applications/Accordance.app/Contents/Frameworks/SSZipArchive.framework/Versions/A/SSZipArchive 0x000000010d8d3000 /Applications/Accordance.app/Contents/Frameworks/Sparkle.framework/Versions/A/Sparkle 0x000000010e3a2000 /Applications/Accordance.app/Contents/Frameworks/ObjectiveDropboxOfficial.framework/Versions/A/ObjectiveDropboxOfficial Edited July 24, 2023 by Brian Phillips more info, screen shot
Dr. Nathan Parker
Thanks for this! I hid your other post (in the future, if something gets posted in the wrong forum, feel free to let me know and I can move it for you). I'll test this today on my Macs and see what I can come up with.
Dr. Nathan Parker
I can't duplicate this on my M2 MacBook Air. I have an Intel iMac Pro with similar specs. Let me try it on there.
Dr. Nathan Parker
I can't reproduce this on my iMac Pro either. If any other users can, that might help us pinpoint what's going on. If you continue to have issues with this, you can try these instructions or emailing Tech Support:

I tried again and was able to repeat. Then I created a fresh workspace and restarted, and it worked fine.
Dr. Nathan Parker
Good to know. Thanks! It must have been the workspace.
