Wing Kei Wong
The screenshot is my MacBook's original display. It shows that the whole window goes upwards and exceeds the screen area, leaving a huge space at the bottom during the reading mode. I'm using a MacBook Air with an external monitor. It is positioned above the MacBook's original display and set as the main display. The reading mode can function properly when the Accordance window is displayed on the external monitor but this problem comes out when the Accordance window is in the original display. If I detach the external monitor, the reading mode works properly again in the original display. Hardware: MacBook Air M2 OS version: macOS 13.4.1 Accordance version: 14.0.6 Other platforms: not yet tested

However, the case I reported is a potential bug in the reading mode behaviour that is not expected. I have no difficulty getting control of the window. I can still use the escape key to leave the reading mode.
