Ipad not remembering last verse position

When I open iOS on my iPad it jumps to a random verse, rather than going back to where I last was.  This didn't use to happen.

Let me ask someone about this, as we have a bug fix update we’re testing. I’ll see if it addresses this.

I can’t duplicate this in the bug fix update beta we’re testing, so I’d try updating to the bug fix update when we release it (should be coming soon) and report back here and let me know if that resolves the issue.

I think I just fixed it by going to accordance settings and turning “remember my place” off and then back on

No, it’s still happening.  In the same book, but jumping forward 7 chapters or so.

Email Tech Support on this one. I'm not near my iPad at the moment, and last time I tried it, I couldn't duplicate it.
