Bezae Codex transcript not aligned correctly in Matthew chapter 1

I am feeling disappointed that I can rarely make a purchase without finding serious problems with the modules I just paid for.

It is not a bug. GNT-Bez begins with Mt 1.21. Open the module by itself.

Also note the ellipsis (the three dots) before the first word in the first verse.

@Michael J. Bolesta,

This is a bug because it misaligns the verses, not because it begins in verse 21.

Verse 21 should align with verse 21 in NA 28, not with verse 1!

@Nathan Parker, could you please report this as a serious problem?

I did notice right away that the Bezae codex begins in verse 21. That verse needs to be aligned with verse 21, rather than verse 1.

@Accordance Enthusiast I stand corrected. For whatever reason GNT-Bez does not align. GNT-Sinaiticus does align with NA28, as does GNT-Alexandrinus. All of them are closer to aligning further in the text (e.g., Mt 28:15).

@Michael J. Bolesta, no problem.

I do appreciate your responses.

And I do hope that in future the text will be aligned correctly.

Yes, I can confirm that the other transcripts align correctly (or close to correctly). And yes, I agree that further on the Bezae codex does align correctly (in most places).

It's only the first part of Matthew 1 that is so far off.
