Modules with Tagging Issues

Dr. Nathan Parker

Recommended Posts

Another example of inaccurate tagging in the Mishnah module. It is obviously the result of an automated computer tagging system. Anyone reading the text will know it is wrong:

This word למוד is not from the root למד but from מדד, it is an Infinitive CONSTRUCT with prefixed Lamed preposition.

Here's a mistake in a DSS module, it should say feminine singular imperative:

Should say Piel, not Qal,  x 2 in this verse

Looks like a mistake in the Mishnah tagging, it should say "participle" and NOT "perfect" because of the Qamets on the second root-letter:

(The Eshkol Mishnah has a Shva on the Resh, and it may be that the Accordance tagging erroneously follows the traditional pointing and not the Kaufmann pointing)

Thanks! Keep posting these here and sending to Corrections. Some of these I may be able to reach out and try to resolve once I start Bible development.

That would be awesome @Dr. Nathan Parker!

Will keep reporting, on the long term it could hopefully make a difference.
