docdave
I would like to see Patrology (4 volumes by Johannes Quasten, and a 5th volume edited by Angelo Di Berardino) in Accordance. Volumes 1-4 are published by Ave Maria Press (ISBN: 9780870611414), while volume 5 is from James Clarke & Co (SBN: 9780227172643). The following passages are quoted from these publishers' websites: Volumes 1-4: This monumental four-volume series places at the disposal of the English-reading public a solid introduction to early Christian literature and the teachings of the early Church. It is the first work of its kind written originally in English. The first volume appeared in 1950. Reviewers were unanimous in heaping praise upon the publication and in looking upon it as a breakthrough in studying the Fathers of the Church. To arouse interest in the works of the Fathers, Johannes Quasten provided numerous excerpts of Patristic writings in English. These selections were designed to show the development of theology in the early centuries and to illustrate the approach of the Fathers to the deposit of faith. Volume I: The Beginnings of Patristic Literature: From the Apostles Creed to Irenaeus Volume II: The Ante-Nicene Literature: After Irenaeus Volume III: The Golden Age of Greek Patristic Literature: From the Council of Nicaea to the Council of Chalcedon Volume IV: The Golden Age of Latin Patristic Literature: From the Council of Nicaea to the Council of Chalcedon Volume 5: This encyclopaedic work of reference covers an era in church history in which pagan ideas still existed and in which the symbiosis between Empire and Church was so close as to make them seem almost one, with the Emperor in the East often playing a dominant role in religious matters, while in the West the authority of the emperors had faded, allowing the papacy to assume increasing secular authority. The domination of the East – reflected in the triumph of Greek over Latin as the language of administration – meant that Rome itself and the Western provinces were seen as rather provincial. The East faced different challenges, most conspicuously the range of theological ideas. Nestorian and Monophysite doctrines had not been suppressed by the Council of Chalcedon. New disputes arose, and in particular differences over the value of imagery. In the 7th century Islam became a major threat to the Empire, while Islamic ideas also carried weight in religious matters. In this, the fifth volume in a series, Angelo Di Berardino provides a highly detailed documentation of the writings of the later fathers of the Eastern Church. Each chapter is written by a sole specialist, which lends a unity not seen in previous volumes while permitting an impressively broad scope. The nine chapters reflect the linguistic and regional divisions of the literature of the period, each with an introduction which helps acquaint the reader more readily with what can be a complex area of study, and a table to clarify the abbreviations used. There are also lengthy bibliographies and an extensive index. This groundbreaking work offers the reader the opportunity to discover the fascinating literature of the fathers of the early Christian era, discussed by a leading expert in the field. Translated into English by Adrian Walford, this is a fundamental work of reference, and makes a major contribution to patristic scholarship.

jlm
This is a standard reference, and not just in English. It can be dated, since Quasten died in 1987, but I don’t know of any other manual that’s as thorough. There might not be an etext, given its age. The other guys don’t have it.
ukfraser
If there are problems obtaining the above, I dont know how these compare but accordance now has a relationship with svs press and i have the formation of christian theology trilogy by john behr which ive found useful and could be worth investigating if there is interest: the way to nicea vol 1 the nicene faith vol 2 parts 1&2 https://svspress.com/nicene-faith-the/ i also have from nicea to chalcedon by frances m young published in the uk by scm to be well regarded https://scmpress.hymnsam.co.uk/books/9780334029939/from-nicaea-to-chalcedon (my introduction to early church literature was through the two spck volumes by j stevenson 1957 and revised by w.h.c frend in 1987 a new eusebius up to ad 337 creeds, councils and controversies ad 337-461 which are both an interesting collection of texts though im not suggesting should be added to accordance. Good point about etext...I have never seen one. Even for volume 5, published in 2008 (much later than Quastens vols 1-4), I haven't seen an etext being offered anywhere.
